@susanhutchens11877 months ago Re: insurance. I’m type 2 diabetic. My sugars went crazy last year, so last November, my doctor put me on Trulicity. Game changer. It worked like a miracle for me. Changed insurance in August, and new company won’t pay because my A1c is below 6.5. The reason it’s below 6.5 is because I’ve been on Trulicity and it’s working! I do not understand taking away a med that is working because . . . It’s working. ... 1

@angelaaldrich36737 months ago 31 years ago my mom had to fight our insurance company to get an insulin pump for me. It really ticks me off that in 2023 you still have to fight for someone with T1D to be covered for a pump. With all the evidence about better control and long term outcomes, there should not even be a question about this option for a patient. I certainly hope that once reviewed you will be approved. ... 8

@BTSHIQ7 months ago I recycle or reuse lots of things. My plastic carrier bags I use for shopping over and over until they disintegrate. Here in Scotland you have to buy them with your shopping (Govt regs to limit plastics use) but I reused them before that. I wash and reuse takeaway plastic cartons and lids for leftovers. I used to reuse marg tubs for same (now I use butter so none). I also reuse ziploc bags to hold biscuits (you call them cookies) etc. once pkt open to keep them fresh. 😊 ... 2

When my daughter was 7, she had to have oral surgery and the insurance company said she did not need anesthesia. Mind blowing how they make these decisions. Was just wondering if you have reached out to the manufacturer? Sometimes they have programs that help and will give it to you free or at a major discount. Just a thought. ... 2

@dbigatti7 months ago It may be a long shot, but when I had a dispute with the insurance company I escalated the issue to the benefits department at my employer and they helped get a quick resolution. Some employers won't engage with the insurance, but maybe you get lucky. Best of luck! ... 2

@rosemariejanssen77907 months ago I don’t like any Mountain Dew, but the mystery flavor is candy corn for darn sure, in my opinion. I reuse containers too. I use them for leftovers when my family is taking some food home because then they don’t have to worry about it. They can throw them away or reuse them themselves. I don’t like to dip pizza in anything. I am so sorry your insurance don’t cover things that is really a necessity! Love your channel. I pray for you. God bless. ... 2

@Greeneyes7567 months ago Perhaps cutting out all sodas and dessert and snacks with any artificial ingredients/chemicals would help you. Perhaps try that for a week or two. Like a fast from those things. Couldn’t hurt. No way those ingredients help any of us. Most of the time I drink only H2o. If I drink diet sodas I feel sluggish. Most no sugar desserts have a weird after taste in my opinion. ... 4

Now I can see what is in each container. But lord, we had many garbage bags full of plastic cups when we cleaned out my grandma's house. I got curious and looked up the mountain dew. They say they won't announce it until October 31st. So got a ways to go. ... 1

@kathy328507 months ago I just started taking MCT oil and stopped using sucralose liquid drops (not the squirt type bottle) and my glucose numbers have drastically improved...like immediately! I'm using the squirt bottle Stevia now.
