機場客運大樓天花清潔工作 Airport Terminal Ceiling Cleaning Work

一號客運大樓嘅拱頂天花係機場嘅標誌之一，總面積達到172,000平方米，足足有成 24 個標準足球場咁大。最近，我哋為天花板進行大型清潔工作，每日平均動用19 部升降台同大約50名員工。工程預計喺8月完成。同時，我哋亦為「沙田精神號」做定期清潔同檢查，包括檢查機體各部位有無損壞、測試活動部件，同埋幫輪胎充氣等！ The vaulted roof of Terminal 1 is one of HKIA’s most iconic features. Covering an area of 172,000m2, it’s equivalent to approximately 24 football fields. Recently, we have been carrying out a comprehensive cleaning exercise of the Terminal 1 ceiling, involving 19 cherry pickers and around 50 cleaning workers every day. The whole cleaning process is expected to be completed in August. Meanwhile, we are also conducting the regular cleaning and maintenance work for the “Spirit of Sha Tin” replica aircraft, including checking for any damage, testing moving parts and re-inflating the tires.
