For coriander chutney
Ingredients:-
Bengal hram/putani-1.5cups
Coriander leaves-handful
Green chilli-3
Tamarind-1tbsp
Few mint leaves
Salt-as reqd
Method:-
1.heat pan add Bengal gram saute lightly for 2 minutes then put in blender jar add all remaining ingredients. Blend well.
2.then add 1 cup water and blend again and make a smooth chutney
For tadka:-
Oil-2tbsp
Mustard seeds-1tsp
Dry red chilli-2
Curry leaves-6-8
1.heat oil on a pan add curry leaves ,mustard seeds ,dry chilli.saute well until dry red chilli becomes lightly black.
2.then add tadka to chutney.
Done.
For onion chutney:-
Ingredients:-
Oil-1tbsp
Onion -1medium
Chana dal-1tbsp
Urad dal-1tbsp
Dry red chilli -2
Coconut-1tbsp,chopped
Garlic pods-3no.
Tamarind-1tbsp
Salt-as reqd
Method:-
1.heat oil in a pan add chana dal,urad dal,
Dry red chillies, coconut, garlic.
Saute well until onion turn lightly brown.then put in jar and add tamarind and salt.
2.blend well .add water as reqd and blend again to make a smooth chutney.
For tadka:-
Oil-1tbsp
Urad dal-1tbsp
Curry leaves-6-8
Mustard seeds-1/4tsp
Method:-
1.heat oil add urad dal ,curry leaves and mustard seeds.saute well and cook until dal turns golden.add tadka to chutney
Done serve chutneys with idli and dos.
