The EP baitfish is a modern classic and it is infinitely customizable to match a variety of prey species. This is a simple riff on that pattern to quicken the tying time and add a bit more movement to the tail (maybe it's just an excuse to use the favorites of rabbit strip and EP Senyo's Chromatic Brushes!). This particular variation is meant to mimic juvenile creek smallmouth, but will also double as a baby brown trout! There are a number of simple tricks snuck in here: from a couple treatments on the zonker (for the sake of both durability and sea-worthiness) to not only using brushes for bumps in both efficiency AND effectiveness, but using two different lengths of brush to create a more natural taper.
