Carrot has numerous health benefits.This vegetable is a good source of beta- carotene for healthy skin and good eye health and vision. It is also a weight-loss friendly food.
Ingredients:
1 1/2 cup All purpose flour
1/2 cup white sugar (add more sugar according to your desire)
4 eggs
1 1/2 tsp baking soda
1/4 cup vegetable oil
1/2 tsp vanilla essence
1/2 tsp salt
2 cups grated carrots
Procedure:
1. In a bowl, mix all the dry ingredients, i.e. All purpose flour, baking soda, sugar and salt.
2. Mix the ingredients well and set aside.
3. In another bowl, mix all the wet ingredients, i.e. Eggs, oil, grated carrots and vanilla essence. Mix the ingredients well until they are blended together.
4.Now, mix the dry and wet ingredients thoroughly.
5. Cut a length of oiled bond-paper that is enough to cover the bottom of the llanera pan.
7. Pour the batter into the llanera pan and level it.
8..Cover and steam for 45 minutes over medium heat.
Note: If you don't have a parchment or wax paper you can get a long bond-paper and put oil on it.
