Today is amavasya of ashada month. amavasya is fifteenth day of krishna paksha of every month. आषाढ़ मास की अमावस्या का हिंदू धर्म में विशेष महत्व है। इसे अषाढ़ी या हलहारिणी अमावस्या भी कहते है। आषाढ़ अमावस्या को चतुर्मास की पहली अमावस्या होती है। सात्विकता का काल माने जाने वाले चातुर्मास की शुरुआत आषाढ़ शुक्ल एकादशी से हो रही है.किसी भी शुभ कार्य, घटना की शुरुआत दीप जलाकर की जाती है। दीपक अच्छे कर्मों का साक्षी होता है। आषाढ़ अमावस्या को अग्नि के प्रति कृतज्ञता व्यक्त करने के लिए 'दीपपूजन' किया जाता है। आषाढ़ अमावस्या को 'दीप अमावस्या' भी कहा जाता है। आषाढ़ मास के अंत में वर्षा ऋतु की शुरुआत हो जाती है, इसलिये किसान इस अमावस्या को हलहारिणी अमावस्या के रूप में मनाते हैं। इस दिन किसान अपने हल और खेती के उपकरणों का पूजन करते हैं। आषाढ़ मास की अमावस्या पर भगवान विष्णु की पूजा और पितरों के तर्पण का विधान है।इस दिन पवित्र नदियों में स्नान करना पुण्य फलदायी होता है। नदी में स्नान के बाद सूर्य को अर्ध्य देकर पितरों को तर्पण अर्पित किया जाता है। इसके बाद नियमानुसार, दिन भर फलाहार करते हुए व्रत रखें तथा भगवान विष्णु का पूजन करें। व्रत का पारण अगले दिन गरीबों में दान करके करना चाहिए। इस दिन सभी दीपक जलाकर थाली में रखना चाहिए। गमले के चारों ओर सुंदर रंगोली बनाएं, फूलों को सजाएं, सभी दीयों में तेल डालकर जलाएं.गीली मिट्टी के दीपक भी बनाकर पूजा में चढ़ाए जाते हैं। इन सभी की पूजा हल्दी, कुमकुम, फूल और अक्षत से करनी चाहिए। अमावस्या के दिन पितरों का तर्पण करने से पितृ दोष से मुक्ति और पितरों का आशीर्वाद प्राप्त किया जा सकता है। इस दिन भगवान शिव और भगवान श्री कृष्ण की पूजा भी की जाती है। आषाढ़ अमावस्या 2021 तिथि एवं मुहूर्त हिंदी पंचांग के अनुसार, आषाढ़ मास की अमावस्या कृष्ण पक्ष के अंतिम दिन 09 जुलाई, दिन शुक्रवार को पड़ रही है। अमास्या तिथि का प्रारंभ 09 जुलाई को सुबह 05 बजकर 16 मिनट से होगा। अमावस्या तिथि की समाप्ति 10 जुलाई को सुबह 06 बजकर 46 मिनट पर होगी। अषाढ़ी अमावस्या का व्रत 09 जुलाई को है। Amavasya of Ashadh month has special significance in Hinduism. It is also called Ashadhi or Halahari Amavasya. Ashadha Amavasya is the first new moon of Chaturmas. Chaturmas, which is considered to be the period of sattvikta, is starting from Ashadh Shukla Ekadashi. Any auspicious work, event is started by lighting a lamp. The lamp is a witness to good deeds. On Ashadh Amavasya, 'Deeppujan' is done to express gratitude towards the fire. Ashadh Amavasya is also known as 'Deep Amavasya'. At the end of the month of Ashadh, the rainy season begins, so farmers celebrate this new moon as Halahari Amavasya. On this day farmers worship their plows and farming implements. On the new moon of the month of Ashadh, there is a law to worship Lord Vishnu and offer obeisances to the ancestors. Bathing in holy rivers on this day is fruitful. After bathing in the river, offerings are made to the ancestors by offering Ardhya to the Sun. After this, according to the rules, keep a fast throughout the day while eating fruits and worship Lord Vishnu. The fast should be broken the next day by donating to the poor. On this day all the lamps should be lit and kept in a plate. Make beautiful rangoli around the pot, decorate the flowers, put oil in all the diyas and light it. Wet earthen lamps are also made and offered in worship. All these should be worshiped with turmeric, kumkum, flowers and akshat. By offering tarpan to the ancestors on the new moon day, freedom from Pitru Dosha and blessings of the ancestors can be obtained. Lord Shiva and Lord Krishna are also worshiped on this day. Ashadh Amavasya 2021 Date and Muhurta According to the Hindi calendar, the new moon of Ashadh month is falling on Friday, July 09, the last day of Krishna Paksha. Amasya Tithi will start from 05:16 am on July 09. Amavasya Tithi will end on July 10 at 06:46 am.
