Walking down Nana Soi 4 on Sukhumvit during an early evening. When most people think about Sukhumvit Soi 4, the first thing that comes to mind is Nana Plaza – the so-called ‘adult playground’ of Thailand. This is one of Bangkok’s less family friendly streets, known for its sleazy bar scene that rumbles throughout the day before getting raucous as the sun goes down. There’s a large handful of hotels, guesthouses and restaurants down Soi 4, and plenty of street food offerings towards the top of the soi. Even if you don’t want to indulge in the tawdrier entertainment on offer, there’s no doubt that Soi 4 is a great spot for people watching.
