Eldoret Media Hub Launch

Chief Guest Mrs. Esther Koimett, CBS, Principal Secretary for State Department of Broadcasting and Telecommunication in the Ministry of ICT, Innovation and Youth Affairs launched the Eldoret Media Hub established by Uasin Gishu Journalists Association through Media Council of Kenya: “Many of the grassroots media outlets, for instance, do not have proper operational bases, with some operating from makeshift newsrooms. This has compromised journalistic standards and safety of journalists” “We support grassroots media houses and media interest groups to cushion them against the effects of the pandemic.
