All the metals have different hardness. But some metals like sodium, potassium can be cut easily by knife. 5) Sonority When metals struck with any other solid materials then they produce sound. It is known as sonority. This property of metal is used in making bells and other musical instrument. 6) Density All metals are heavier than water and due to their higher density than water they dropped down in water. But metals like sodium and potassium have density lower than water. 7) Melting point The temperature at which any solid substance is converted into liquid state is known as melting point. Metals have high melting point due to their hardness. But Gallium(G) metal has low melting point. It is liquid at room temperature. 8) Thermal conductivity All metals like iron, copper, aluminium etc are good conductor of heat. Silver (Ag) is the best conductor of heat. But lead(Pb) is a Poor conductor of heat. 9) Malleability The property of metals by which they can be beaten into thin sheets is called malleability. Due to this property we can convert metals like gold , silver etc into thin sheets. 10) Electricity conductivity:- Metals can conduct electricity hence they are good conductor of electricity. Silver (Ag) is the best conductor of electricity. 11) Ductility:- The property of metal by which it can be drawn into wires is called ductility. A solid material which is typically hard, shiny, malleable and ductile, with good electrical and thermal conductivity (e.g. iron, gold, silver, and aluminium, and alloys such as steel) is known as metal. ************************** If you like the video, plz like and subscribe us, as it will inspire us to move forward and update u with our new videos
